Have you looked into Hindu mysticism at all? I personally have always resonated more with Eastern religious traditions as I’ve learned more about them, and I took a course in college about India that dug into Hinduism and scratched the surface on some interesting mystics.
I’m not sure how wide ranging you are trying to go here but I also recommend reading more about Shinto. Religions that are more animistic are interesting in the context of mysticism because the whole religion is in some sense mystical.
I’m reading into both now! There’s a really interesting Catholic/Hindu mystic, Henri Le Saux, who spent his whole adult life more or less being like “I am a Catholic priest and believe there is something important here, but in every other way the Hindu path seems to have figured out the most important questions.”
Shinto is super super interesting too, definitely much more of a blind spot for me though. On the list!!

I have several good books on Shinto, but they are not specifically mysticism focused. Let me know if you want some recs!
