Hello and happy solstice! The days are getting longer again! More sun, more sun!
I’m writing with a very short note to announce that the Mary in astrology: star of the sea and cause of our joy chapbook is available. It’ll only be available as a physical copy, with 25 available to start. Down the line I might put it up as a PDF, we shall see.
In the chapbook (zine? booklet?) I spend some time reflecting on Mary as she existed to me in my Catholic childhood, the resonance she has within the cosmology of Hellenistic astrology, and explore a simple association between her story and the Moon’s cycle, a “stations of the Moon”, if you will.
If this is of interest to folks, I’m thinking I’ll plan some more small batch, handmade chapbooks in the future. There may be re-releases and I’m definitely open to hearing what kinds of topics are exciting. This is meant to be conversational, a way to make our exchange more tangible offline.
